This application judges acceptability by measuring paper thickness in cutting preprocessing.
A Linear Proximity Sensor performs detection in preprocessing for book-binding machines with paper that is stacked up. A high-speed Digital Panel Indicator performs measurement, and then converts the data into thickness to judge acceptability.
Know-How
The system uses a high-speed Digital Panel Indicator that supports fast sampling at 2,000 times per second (0.5 ms).
