Detects Sheet Edges to Prevent Sheet Snaking

This application uses a Fiber Sensor with differentiation.



This Fiber Sensor with differentiation controls the edges of transparent sheets that are wound with a roller.

Know-How

Conventional sensors did not provide stable detection of transparent sheets that did not generate enough light intensity for the sensor to detect the difference.

Benefit / Efficiency

Using a Fiber Amplifier with Differentiation enables detecting the edges of transparent sheets.
