Detects the Liquid Level in a Tank

This application uses a Fiber Sensor.

Install this Diffuse-reflective Fiber Sensor at the glass window on the side of a tank to detect the presence of liquid.

Know-How

Mechanical level sensors were used for this type of application. Mechanical deterioration could cause a malfunction in the sensor.

Benefit / Efficiency

Refraction of light changes with the presence of liquid through the glass, which changes the incident value to enable detection.
