Traceability Management on Electric Appliances

This application uses ID Tags to manage the traceability data on electric appliances that ranges from assembly, inspection to shipment in a factory.

The system writes a serial number in the ID Tag to which it adds the dates and times of assembly completion, inspection, and shipping. It reads all the data in the ID Tag in the final process and transfers it to the database of the host system.

Know-How

The system links a serial number of products with the data on assembly, inspection and shipment, which makes it easy to comprehend inspection or shipment data of the products which are called in when something wrong happens with products.

Benefit / Efficiency

The links between the serial number of products and process log data make it easier to identify products. This helps reduce work that is caused by problems that occur and therefore helps reduce costs.
