This application uses a High-performance Color-sensing Fiber Amplifier.
This Color-sensing Digital Fiber Sensor is used to detect registration marks.
It achieves more-stable detection than a conventional sensor, which judges with the amount of reflected light against positional fluctuations in the workpieces in the production process.
All the kinds of color registration mark could not be detected with a conventional mark sensor that used a single light source LED. Also, a conventional sensor did not provide stable performance against fluctuations in the positions of workpieces in production.
Benefit / Efficiency
The use of white light LEDs and RGB processing of incident signals enables judging any color of registration marks.
The use of an algorithm that detects the ratio of RGB light intensities also ensures resistance to fluctuations in workpieces within the rated detection range.
