RFID to Manage Engine Processing
Case Number 195
last update: April 19, 2011
Processing instructions are written to RFID Tags (IC tags) that are attached to pallets. History information is also written after processing. The RFID Tag (IC tag) information is read when moving to the next process, and the information is transferred to the RFID Tag (IC tag) that is attached to the pallet in the next process.
Stable communications are possible even in FA sites with high noise levels.
RFID Tags (IC tags) have excellent water and oil resistance.
There is an abundant lineup of RFID Tags (IC tags) including compact models, models that attach to metal, and large-capacity models.
Benefit / Efficiency
Processing history information is easily gathered, and product traceability is reliably managed.
