High-temperature Handler Detects Passage of IC Chips

This application uses a Flexible Through-beam Fiber Sensor that is heat-resistant to 200°C. 

This Sensor enables detecting passage of IC chips at temperatures up to 200°C. The use of fluororesin in the covering achieves a Fiber Sensor with both heat-resistance and flexibility.


Heat-resistant fiber sensors had a large bending radius, which made wiring the fiber amplifier difficult.

Benefit / Efficiency

This application enables you to easily wire the Sensor at a bending radius of 10 mm in a 200°C environment.
