Question
The output LED indicator is not lit and the output will not go ON.
Answer
| Likely cause | Solution |
| Even though the connected load's current is within the Power Supply's capacity during normal operation, the load's startup current is triggering the overload protection function. | Use a Power Supply with an "inverted L drop" overload protection function or replace the Power Supply with one that is one step higher in capacity. |
| The connected load exceeds the Power Supply's ratings, so it is triggering the overload protection function. | Select a different Power Supply with sufficient capacity to handle the load's current requirements. |
| The Power Supply's output is short-circuited. | Locate the point where the output line is short-circuited and eliminate the short. |
