What devices are required for optical transmissions?
Answer
Two Optical Link Modules and one Optical Fiber are required for optical transmissions. An AC Adapter will also be required for Z3R-[][]12 and Z3G Optical Link Modules.
There are two types of Optical Link Module: the Z3R RS-232C and the Z3G GP-IB. (See 1 and 2 in the following diagram.)
Applicable models: Z3R(Optical RS-232C Link Module) Series, Z3G(Optical GP-IB Link Module)
