Is a specific insertion direction required, and do the input terminals have polarity for the cable of a Zero-phase Current Transformer used with an AGD/K6EL Ground Fault Relay?

No, there is no specific cable insertion direction or input terminal polarity.

The cable can be inserted in either direction.
Either K or L can be connected to the input terminal of the Zero-phase Current Transformer.
