If Vibration Sensor D7G-F is directly mounted on a machine that sways, can it still detect earthquakes?
Answer
The D7G-F senses vibration in the X-Y direction so it cannot detect earthquakes if it is mounted directly onto the machine. Mount it on a fixed post or pillar instead.
