What is 'moving average'? What does 'moving average' mean?
An average that displays the average for the last n samples every time a sample is taken, maintaining a relationship to the past data. A moving average is effective for eliminating periodic noise imposed on the input signal. The number of samples to average can be set by the user. For the K3HB-X/V/S/H/R, settings of 2, 4, 8, 16, …, 512, and 1,024 are available.
