Term : accuracy

What is 'accuracy'? What does 'accuracy' mean?

Definition

A performance specification which shows (defines) the difference between the measured output of a device, compared to a known standard (of higher specification). Sometimes expressed as a percentage of full scale. This comparison is done under normal operating conditions.
