What is 'Host Link'? What does 'Host Link' mean?

Definition

A serial communications mode allowing the I/O memory of the CPU Unit to be read and written, and the operating mode to be changed from a host computer (personal computer or Programmable Terminal) by executing Host Link commands. Connections for 1:N nodes is possible (N: 32 max.).
