What is 'life expectancy'? What does 'life expectancy' mean?

Typically, the Power Supply's service life depends on the service life of the aluminum electrolytic capacitors used in the Power Supply. When the Power Supply is operated under proper conditions, the expected service life can be calculated from the measured electrolytic capacitor temperature. This expected service life is known as the life expectancy.The calculated life expectancy is not equivalent to the warranty period.The life expectancy is simply the projected service life.The expected service life calculation assumes the following conditions: (1) Rated input voltage, (2) Load rate: 50%, (3) Ambient operating temperature: 40C, (4) Standard mounting position, (5) Continuous 24 hr/day operation, (6) Fan life not included for models equipped with a fan.
