What is 'peripheral bus'? What does 'peripheral bus' mean?
Definition
A special bus for connecting Support Software running on a personal computer to the PLC. Data exchange speeds are faster than for Host Link. When using Support Software running on a personal computer (e.g., the CX-Programmer), a peripheral bus connection is generally used instead of a Host Link connection. On the CX-Programmer, the peripheral bus is call the "toolbus."
