What is 'protocol macro'? What does 'protocol macro' mean?
Definition
A macro used to communicate with an external device that has a serial communications port according to the communications protocol of the external device. Protocol macros enable data to be sent to and received from external devices by simply executing the PMCR(260) instruction in the CPU Unit. It is supported for CS/CJ-series Serial Communications Units/Boards or CQM1H and C200HX/HG/HE Serial Communications Boards.
