Term : ON/OFF operation

What is 'ON/OFF operation'? What does 'ON/OFF operation' mean?

Definition

A control operation with two output states, ON (100%) and OFF (0%). It is sometimes called "two-position control." Heating (Reverse Operation) If the process value is higher than the set value, the output is turned OFF. If the process value is lower than set value, the output is turned ON.
