What is 'Heater short alarm'? What does 'Heater short alarm' mean?

Definition

A function to output an alarm when an SSR short-circuit failure is detected for a time-proportioning control action. The SSR failure alarm is output if the current flowing to the heater detected by the CT exceeds a set value even though the control output is OFF.
