What is 'specific resistance'? What does 'specific resistance' mean?

Definition

A liquid's resistance to current flow expressed in kΩcm. It has an inverse relationship with conductance. Electricity flows through the liquid between the Electrodes through an infinite number of paths. The specific resistance expresses the resistance to the flow of electricity.
