Term : linearizer

What is 'linearizer'? What does 'linearizer' mean?

Definition

A circuit that takes an input signal and converts it into an output signal that is proportional (linear relationship) to the measured value. For example with a thermocouple, a detection signal (mV) which has a non-linear relationship with the measurement (temperature) can be used as an input.
