Primary Contents

Application No.288

Temperature Monitoring for Melting Furnaces

To eliminate temperature changes that result from voltage fluctuations, we use a K3HB Process Indicator to measure the heater power. This enables Slidac position control and melting furnace temperature control according to the changes. Note: A Slidac is an auto-transformer.

Application No.289

Pressure Monitoring inside Tanks

A K3HB-X Process Indicator converts the output of the pressure sensor to a pressure, and displays the value. Also, the K3HB-X sends linear output data to the CPU Unit to perform centralized monitoring.

Application No.290

Motor Load Current Monitoring

A Digital Panel Indicator measures and monitors a voltage input to control the motor load with alarm outputs from the Digital Panel Indicator. Also, the startup compensation timer enables efficient monitoring for motor overload without an output with inrush current at motor startup.

Application No.292

Measuring Dust Discharge Quantities

The K3HB Process Indicator measures the amount of dust that is discharged into the atmosphere. It does this with a current input of 4 to 20 mA for the change in the light that is transmitted to the Analog Photoelectric Sensor. The system outputs an error if the set value is exceeded.

Application No.293

Workpiece Warping Detection

A Linear Proximity Sensor detects warping in molded components or other workpieces by converting the warping into the movement of a metal strip through an attachment. The K3HB-X Process Indicator displays the value, and outputs the judgment with alarm outputs.

Application No.294

Detection of Roller Offset

The system displays the roller position for equipment that moves the roller position and detects offset during work. To do so, the system uses the plate pressure of the rolled plate. You can easily use the forced-zero function of the K3HB Process Indicator to shift the immediately preceding display value to 0 to make standard adjustments. You can also operate the forced-zero function with the keys on the front of the Digital Panel Indicator.

Application No.295

Current Monitoring for Current Welders

A Digital Panel Indicator measures and monitors the current fluctuation in workpiece welding with a splitter.

Application No.296

Detection of Discharged Powder Quantitie

An Analog Photoelectric Sensor detects the quantity of discharged powder. A Process Indicator scales and displays the linear output of 4 to 20 mA. Also, the system sends BCD data to the PLC to monitor the quantity of discharge.

Application No.298

Inspecting the Quantity of Aluminum Vapor Deposited on Cathode-ray Tubes

The display shows the quantity of aluminum vapor that is deposited on the cathode-ray tubes in a way that is easy to understand. First, the system detects changes in the reflection of the Analog Photoelectric Sensor according to the quantity of vapor that is deposited. The scaling function of the Process Indicator converts the degree of change into an easily understood percentage for display to perform inspection. The system uses alarm outputs to indicate judgments.

Application No.299

Monitoring Liquid Chemicals

Displaying the resistance of chemicals and other liquids that are used for semiconductors enables quality control for liquid chemicals.
