Cutting Butter to Size
A Rotary Encoder detects the feed rate on the conveyor. A K3HB-C Up/Down Counting Pulse Indicator converts and displays the Butter length proportional to the input frequency. The system controls an output with a preset value, and the contacts of the H3CR Timer cut the Butter to size.

Counting Workpieces
A Photoelectric Sensor detects workpieces on a conveyor. This application uses the pulse counting mode of a K3HB-C Up/Down Counting Pulse Indicator to display values. A BCD output that is sent to the PLC or large display unit enables production management.
