A control method that performs vector control using a speed sensor. This method detects the rotation of a motor using a detector (an encoder pulse generator) mounted on the motor and uses vector operation to accurately calculate the magnitude of a load from the motor current. The system can thus precisely and correctly determine the magnitude of the load and the rotation speed to generate an objective rotation speed and a target torque. With vector control, the torque is stable even for abrupt changes in the load or rotation speed because it considers the current direction as well as the magnitude of voltage or frequency to control a motor.
