Question

Is there a restriction on the number of C200H Programmable Controllers SYSMAC LINK Units that can be mounted when a Host Link Unit is also mounted? Is it different than with C1000H Programmable Controllers?

Answer

With C200H, the SYSMAC LINK Units use the Bus Connection Units to exchange data with the CPU Unit.

Therefore, there is no restriction on the number that can be mounted for Units that do not use Bus Connection Units (i.e., Host Link Units).

This is different for the C1000H, as shown below.

C200H: Two SYSMAC LINK Units and two Host Link Units.

C1000H: One SYSMAC LINK Unit and one Host Link Unit.
